VTEC light

So i wanna make a vtec light, i assume all i have to do is connect is splice a wire and connect it to a 12v LED. The wire that activates the VTEC solenoid will make the LED light up when it hits vtec. Nehoo, the problem rite now is i dunno which wire to splice, or where the VTEC solenoid is.. Anybody wanna post a picture and point at where the VTEC solenoid/wire is???

A vtec light is a cheap mod i can do myself, if u consider it rice go ahead i don't care.. its not like i'm goin overboard and puttin bigass useless aluminum spoilers on my ****.. or buying body kits and not painting them. call it rice if u want, u proably have somethin on ur car other ppl consider rice too =-P

Ok this is wut i figured for a VTEC light.. basically the ECU sends a signal through a wire to activate the VTEC solenoid when VTEC is activated. So basically all u have to do is splice the wire so u can connect a 12V LED to it, and just mount the 12V LED wherever u want, be creative, put it in ur gauge cluster or somethin. The VTEC solenoid is next to the distributor i believe, but i suggest u find the wire that's leading from the ECU, should be green with a yellow stripe.

I had this idea stuck in my head. if you put a large led/vetec light on the dash behind the guage cluster, then it could be reflected upon the front windshield. I think I'll do that with mine soon. Be all like old school lexus. I don't think it's rice. I think it's more functional then non fucntional bmw z fender crap people molded on to their fenders. Even worst, ceiling scoops... they're ****.

here's a good idea.
have flourescent lights mounted under your sides and rear, hook them up to a relay so arming the relay let's your ground effects come on when you have your vtech on.

easy to DIY.
heheh
