Vtec

I cant hear or feel my Vtec engage!?! I get passed 5200 rpm and I really cant hear a difference other than the engine obviously reving higher. I know something is wrong because Ive been in my friends Integra and its very distinguishable when his vtec kicks in. Does anybody know what the problem might be???

this thread needs more blinker fluid

is the car cold when you are trying to get VTEC to engage? If so, that is the source of your problem.

Check your oil level. if low, add oil as needed - that's also a frequent culprit. The topic has been covered countless times and is usually resolved. A common search might be --> 'vtec not working'. Prelude Online crew is cool, but using the search feature on here will be your best friend. The car has been around awhile, so any problem you might have or mod you're considering has been covered 9 times out of 10. Good luck!
