VIS CF Hood latch question

This might be a dumb question but where is the adjustable latch on the VIS CF hoods? And how exactly do you use it?

I have the new hood. The latch is the gold colored one. You can adjust it my unscrewing the bolts that is used to hold it. I had to adjust mine because i couldn't close the hood properly. After adjusting it, no more problems. hope that helps.

I have the same question, I just installed mine today and there is a little play when it is closed. Mine is the grade A VIS cf hood. Are you talking about the latch on the car or the actual part on the hood?

I think your hood must be different for the 4th gen cause the latch on my cf hood is welded on and there is no way to adjust it. I already did search btw and came up with nothin...

Lol, I already saw that... My hood is not the newer style. It doesnt have an adjustable latch on the hood itself cause its welded on. I was wanting to know if i can adjust the latch on the car to make it fit right.

go outside pop your hood.... the latch thats attached to the car should at least be semi similar to mine.... there are a couple bolts in the latch just feel around to see if the holes that the bolts are in have slots. i dont see why the 5th gen wouldnt be adjustable
