VIS CF Hood arrived!!

My hood is here and it looks perfect!! all that's left is to install it and see how the fitment is...but let me just say...the weave is nice and tight as i wanted

oh yea....so what tools do i need 2 install it?

Hood pins......... And some 3M double sided tape in case u don't have hood pins to prevent the hood from flying into ur windshield on the freeway........

ok, got the socket set.....there's two bolts on each side to be removed right? that's as far as i could make out...if it's just those 4 bolts...should be a piece of cake

me and my roommate plan to do the install...we should be ok working on this w/ just the 2 of us right? i'm assuming we just prop the stock hood up....and then just start removing the bolts?

Hope you like the hood man....I made sure before I shipped it out it was the best one out of the batch that came in......and I made sure i packed it real good before sending it out too......Have fun with it...post up some pics!

i really appreciate it.. just waiting to install it when i get out of class today...can't wait

if you're looking to buy a cf hood...i'd recommend dealing w/ allen (H22ATypeS)..especially if you're in cali pics are on the way!

yah usually if you guys are within a 50 mile radius from me I can basically get you a carbon fiber hood and I can meet you guys somewhere to pick it up....other then that...shipping sucks..I have no control over that.

Hood pins are ugly ....You just mess up a perfectly good CF hood if you put those on....

would you have to put hood pins on or will it come with a hood latch. and does the gaps on the hood look good along the head light area.

well, the hood is installed and let me say it looks
the fitment is great too..i don't even see a need to really adjust it at all...and the edges are just a little further than the stock hood (that's inevitable)...
