lol.. ok i hope u don't mean that when u set it at 4500 u don't feel that kick back??
cause around 4500 it smooth it up so u wouldn't feel the kick back but u should still hear ur engine go into vtec mode..
okay thanks all for ur replys i got it to work now ..... i love this vafc its so nice now waiting for the accord tray to come in tomorrow to finish the install anywaz no one addressed the way they clean their displays without scratching it ???

Do you want "feel" like you have power or actually have power. You are feeling a bigger kick because you are reducing power before the VTEC engagement point. Lowering the engagement point smoothes out the power band, giving you more power before the VTEC engagement point so you don't feel that kick.
Oh yeah, I have mine set at: Into VTEC at 4700, Out of at 4500.

have you not seen jtowns post about having a accord tray under the stereo to hide the vafc .... just do a search under jtown or accord tray and u will see he has posted pics and instructions

chances are you're losing a LOT of power by doing that...i'd suggest you re-configure your settings before you get walked on by something along the lines of a Civic SI..

Civic SI can't walk on me even with my VTEC set at 6000RPM, I am losing a bit of power but enough to get walk on by an SI, the H22A has enough torque to bring the car up to speed then VTEC would take over. Also, I don't leave that setting on all the time, only when I wanna have a little fun with my passengers who doesn't know about VTEC It always gets that WTF was that look out of them which is

Just curious......what have you set the correction settings to? I always hear about people changing the engagement point but never the correction settings after doing so.
