US rear fog light?

Are you guys obliged to have a rear fog light in States? If so, is it originally somewhere in a tail lamp? In Europe it's put in the bumper, but it sucks and I've just removed it to have a smooth and clean bumper as yours. It's quite a popular mod here and the fog bulb is put either into one of the reverse lights or into a brake lamp. I'm into the second option as I prefer adding to taking.Still, I wonder if there is a US version of the tail going with the fog light.

No rear fogs in the states. Smooth bumpers all around.

That's funny how people who have the rear fogs as an option delete them where people here who don't add them, I always thought they looked hideous.

You always want what you don't have which is very retarded thinking in terms of JDM purists.

ex. I want to spend $250 on jdm door sills because all the ladies will be all up on me and it looks so heatscore when my boy opens the door and sees it says "PRELUDE"!!!

All US hatch owners want to get rid of the rear wiper. Most US Lude owners want to add one and drool over the ones that have it. Ish makes no sense to me. Hate what you have and wish you had what you don't.

I would like a rear wiper but only because I think the car needs it not cause it's not there. The rear fog is just dumb, it ruins the symmetry of the car having that light on 1 side of the rear bumper and to add a 2nd on the other just makes the car have too much going on.

why don't you all stop *****ing and let people do what they want. Just because someone doesn't like rear fogs doesn't mean they are hideous.

The example on the JDM door sills is pathetic. People do it as a hobby.

I think 2 rear fogs looks dope, and many people think 1 looks cool too.

and whoever coins rear fogs with JDM term, you're a retard.

and I can care freaking less that in Europe they remove rear fogs. They spend more money shaving their rear fogs than we spend on buying them.

JDM and EDM specs are a hobby, and everyone does what they like.

Keep your dumb opinions to yourselves.

yeah I know i edited that. The point is Global Market additions is all a hobby. It has nothing to do with impressing others. Well, sometimes it is, but for most part people do what they feel like doing.

If you all wanna go b*tch and complain, go diss some ricers or something. Leave JDM/EDM enthusiasts out of your dumb opinions.

sorry, I'm not trying to rip on you guys, just if you wanna say negative things go rip on ricers or something. There's no need to pick on JDM/EDM purists.

I didn't know words could actually stop another persons actions from thousands of miles away...?

Actually, that's exactly what it means.

My point is, just as you said(in general) in your second quote from my post, just because other people say they look bad or are a foolish mod isn't stopping anyone, so don't tell people to stop telling people to stop--at the end of the day they're just words, nothing more. Put yourself at ease.

i wish we had rear fogs in our taillights as they are nice in crappy weather. I appreciate the volvos, benzes, etc. that use them in the snow, rain and fog.

Calm down Dan. It's just as ok to give an opinion as it is to disagree with one. EVERYONE on here has something they like or don't like about someone else's car. As Prelude owners, we tend to have a similar mindset about what is or isn't pleasing in the looks department. We go for more classy things (unlike those dreaded Civic owners), but not everyone is going to fit the mold. At the end of the day, it is your car and you may do with it what you like. However, if you paint the car lime green, lift it up 9" and throw 24" gold rims on there....chances are very few people from this group will appreciate your "style".

As for the JDM door sills, I really dig 'em. Very classy/sleek little addition. If they weren't expensive, I'd own some. Rear wiper, I agree we should have one because it's useful. I'm tired of wiping the back glass with a towel or squeegee. Rear fogs, rather pointless here in the states, which is why we don't have them. Europe gets foggy all the time, most of the US doesn't.

I will say that JDM bumper poles are pretty damn retarded to put on a USDM vehicle. If you can't drive well enough to park your car without hitting something because you don't know the size of your own ass, give the keys to someone else.

Ok, I'm done.

What exactly do the rear fogs do that a taillight when the lights are on doesn't do? This confuses the crap out of me.

much brighter than tail lights, allow greater visibility of your vehicle to other drivers in bad weather.

Rear Fogs are brighter than tail lights that have the brake applied to them. It also looks dope when you have 2 rear fogs. Also a cool addition if you are a JDM/EDM parts and options collector.

There are some photos online of how important rear fog is in certain weather conditions. In USA we don't have fog like that, at least where I live we don't.

The mod is purely for hobbyists here in USA.

We can say the same to you "mate". lol

I like how you defend these items. It's becuase you sell them. It's also funny how you have started saying "mate" in many of your posts despite not doing it since the beginning. You aren't from Australia.

So seriously, it's time to slow YOUR roll.
