Upper Strut Bars

I just went to a motorsports shop and asked about strut bars.
I asked for Spoon because from what I've read on many threads, it sounds like it's the best. They didn't have it. They had DC and Matrix. The DC's costs 175 bucks while the Matrix brand was 45 bucks. What is the difference besides the brand name? I asked the dude and he said that they are the same. So I went with the Matrix brand. Do you guys think that, "performance-wise," it would matter? Is the performance between the two really far off?

Thanks

all that should matter is how solid and stiff the strut bar is.

the spoon is the most solid proof bar in the market.

dc sports bends really easy from what i hear..

good luck!

i use front/rear spoon bars that i got made about 4 years ago. it was put in with a special group buy.

i use to use neuspeed front towers, they were good. i changed to spoon because the tein's upper pillows come with 2 more tower bolts which the spoon offered.

i dont know about the other ones, but the neuspeed would be my choice if I was using the stock bushings.

I have the Neuspeed one (polished) in front..It works very well! The rear, I will soon have a spoon bar as Neuspeed doesnt make one for the rear...

DON'T get the DC sports ones...They are weak as ****... I could push on them and they would flex..Just imagine with the weight of the vehicle cornering...If I could make it flex...WHat the hell!!! Plus, friends of mine had DC, and they broke!!! POS!!!!

Go for the quality stuff...Plus, DC is a rip off...They just look good..

I would highly recommend the Neuspeed ones...They rock!

I never liked any of the bars with the pins and poor connecting end links. DC was a nono in my book due to the bending issue. I love the neuspeed bar and could notice the difference when I added it as on some turns I got oversteer where I hadnt before. This was before the sway bar and everything else. Steering response was picked up too.

The neuspeed one looks sweet in the engine bay, black, and works great. You can get a blue neuspeed sticker if you want...
