Upper front strut bar installaion?????

what is the proper way to install the upper front stut bar, do i need to jack the car up?
Is the bar has to be very tight?
Can you notice the difference in handling?
What about the upper rear strut bar?
Is it necessary or going to make a difference?
And where I can find information on the installation guide of these bar on the web?

Man, that's alot of questions...

Thanks, elppa...

They are pretty easy to install. You don't need to jack up the car or anything. just take the bolts off and put it on and tighten the bolts. You do feel a difference.

what did you have a hard time with? it seemed easier to install the neuspeed than the cheap ebay one....the only semi-difficult part was pullin the leg over the bolt on the driver side, but that wasn't really hard....took me less than ten minutes...an that includes takin off the old one.

I've been having some problems with my neuspeed strut bar (front). At first I got the wrong torque spec and only tightened the bolts to 14ft/lbs and it sounded like my assembly was loose cuz everytime I would stop or start, you could hear them moving. But then I found out that its 28ft/lbs, not 14 the problem went away, for a while... I don't know if the bolts are working themselves loose, or if the silicone bead around the strut tower assembly is slowly giving way making the bolts seem more loose cuz ever now and then I have to go back and tighted my bolts. I'm almost at the point now where I want to say f%3$ it and just go hog wild. I don't want to strip my bolts though.... maybe some loc-tite?

The 28 ft lb torque spec is correct. Use a little threadlock on the nuts after you buy a new set (4) or even if you don't. This will insure that they do not back out.
The install is very simple on a 5th gen and I did find that using a floor jack under the left front jack point helped just a tiny bit. The legs on a Neuspeed bar can be a bit frustrating-just take your time.
