I think FoliaTec sells something in sheets that you can put under there..........I think it's kinda like paper, I don't know if thats what you were talking about?? I don't know if it is good quality but maybe check it out......
OK, heres how. I have been doin those for 4 years now. Go to home depot , get 12" square 1/8" glass mirror. Get a glass cutter. Make paper templates of the areas, and trace onto glass and cut. Sand edges, and wipe every edge w/ motor oil, so it looks greenish on the edge again. Stick w/ 3M ground effects tape. Thats it!! It will take several hours the first time.
some one posted this on my other fourm...hope it helpss, sure did with me, ill be doing this, this weekend..
just got home from home depot...got 16 peices of 12" squares of 1"16 mirror, along with some super heavy tape that holds 5pounds.....and a glass cutter.....wish me luck
all of it together about 35.......i finshed part 1 today, taken off the hood and cuting out the peices, then friday and saturday, i have to sand all them down to fitting the spaces and taping them up this is gonna take me a long long time, but will look very good in the end
