Its really not that hard, just do it urselves guys!!!
When doing the soldering part, i dental flossed sticks of wood to the sides of the iron and that took care of melting plastic parts.
One of the rear tail lights, i used the soldering iron and the other i used a screwdriver and hammer. Both ways are pretty much the same - time wise.
If you are worried about all the orange flakes from drilling...just use an air compressor with a jet nozzle if you have one or rent or use someone's. I did it and I have NO flakes at all and I drilled.

All you have to do is frost the bulbs. First of all...credit goes to Guiddy for first coming up with this method. Its in the FAQ but the long and the short of it is you put a light frosting of silver spray paint over the bulb and from a couple of feet away it looks completely silver but it illuminates amber or blue or whatever color the bulb is. I just did mine like that and it looks awesome.
well i just finished clearing mine out, i used the cutting method that was mentioned, this method was pretty easy i thought and it looks practically flawless, im very happy with em : ) they look so niceeeeee no more yellow !! woohoooooo

in va your turnsignals are suppose to be orange...i go to va frequently to stay w/ my mom and have never been hassled for my hyperwhite turnsignals or my blue side marker lights. but they are "suppose to be orange". if you clear you stock lights and then buy some orange bulbs, then spray paint these bulbs w/ a silver paint you will not be able to tell you have orange bulbs in but they will lights up orange..very nice if you ask me. adn you should have no trouble....seeing that i just got my car inspected w/ clear turnsignal housing and orange bulbs.
