Ugly brake sound....

So i install Powerslot rotors on the front and read along with Hawk HPS pads...
I drove them for the 500 mile break-in period and everything was cool.
2 days ago i was driving to work in the rain and got cut off in traffic. I slammed on the brakes and was able to stop before hitting the truck, but now everytime i apply the brake i hear this ugly grinding/scraping sound. I know it has to be the rotor contacting the pad.... Does anyone know what might've gone jacked?
I thought the sound would go away but it seems to be getting worse.

No i mean this sound is REALLY loud... i can hear it over my ultra medallion.
Sounds like a rotor being resurfaced on a lathe kinda....

Just pull the the wheels off and check to make sure the pads are still seated in the retainer clips and the clips are not bent up. I ran into a similar problem last summer and I took it all apart and noticed it was the the pad retainers.

Worse possible cause....... you caliper could have seized. You can find a used set for around $75
