Type sh suspension help

Does anyone know if theres a difference the springs are different for sh and non-sh ludes? Like can base coilovers fit on the sh? spring? A lot of manufactures don't seem to post 2 different application, and I just don't want to spend money buying something that doesn't fit

The right way to do coilovers on an SH is to also replace the shocks with aftermarket units IMO. Be warned that the front suspension of an SH is very different from the Base. The springs are not the same or interchangeable/nor are the shocks in stock trim. Coilovers will go on as they are not side specific.
Long term it is better and easier to do a full install.

Correct. The SH springs are longer, therefore the pearches sit lower. Base springs would really slam the front of the car. The coilovers will let you adjust the appropriate height.

I have a 97 SH and we put Neuspeed springs on with no problem. The only thing we ran into trouble with was the struts that I wanted. We couldn't get adjustable. Tociko (if thats how you spell it) non-adjustables was the choice we went with. Before that I had coilovers and they gave me the worst ride I've ever had. Plus living in Missouri (2nd worst roads in the nation) didn't help.
