so im bout to go and buy the Type-S pistons and rods off a local guy.. hes only asking 250 along with a cosmetic headgasket.. i feel as if its a good deal.. but my question is how do i know if they are real type-s setup.. any markings, or such? please let me know what to look for. and they have a 11.1 C/R correct? its what i found in my research..

if they are real type s pistons they will have an increased dome on the top of the piston. if you compare the type s pistons to the h22a4 and the jdm h22a the piston dome will be noticably taller in comparision, the smallest dome would be the h22a4, then the jdm h22a, then the type s.
