anyone know how strong these pistons are? i'm planning to change my pistons with je or type s pistons. but i wanted to higher compression ratio and the je pistons only have 10:1 and 11.5:1. isn't 10:1 stock? what is type s' compression ratio? i'm planning to use 100 to 125 shot of nitrous. thanks in advance

Oh s**t, you want to increase piston pressure w/ 100-125 shot NOS?! Your block will turn into popcorn. That's something you don't want to do.

If you're pushing that much NOS, you should be looking into 8.5:1 or 9:1.

you also know that if you use an aftermarket forged piston you will have to have the block sleeved.

JE are forged never looked into those? cr you said was 11.5?
RW/Weisco is forged 11-12.2:1 customizable(is that a word?)
TypeS is cast 11:1
