it will raise your compression from 10.1 to 11.1.
makes a bit more power.
Not a good idea if you're planning on boosting.
Also you're looking at alot of labor unless you're planning on doing alot of other mods or other internal work.

The typeS pistons raise compression by 1 full point. One compression point increase is typically equivalent to +4% to +5% increase in power across the whole power band - which is a pretty significant gain...

However, the labor needed to install pistons make this look bad from a price/performance perspective if you take it to a shop. But if you can do the install yourself, it's a very cost effective upgrade.

standard vs .25 over size

inlinefour.com sells 2 types of type-s pistons, standard and .25 over size, what's the difference?

You would use .25 oversize if you got your cylinders honed before you put them in. Same thing holds true for stock US pistons. Honda sells the oversize version of the US pistons to fit honed cylinders.
