3-6 lb-ft below 4500 Rpms. little to no change everywhere else. nice sound during vtec. good to have on your car if the hood is popped. stealthy install saved me from impound! read that for details

I wouldn't mind one, but I have heard people say that they have trouble fitting them. They do not fit 100%? Has anyone heard of this?

It is harder to fit than the stock intake, but it does indeed fit. Changing the filter is a little harder afterwards because of the tight fit. Speaking of, does anybody else have to remove the battery holder bar to access the filter? I had to before I got my Type-S intake too.

I second the increased low-end torque. It's enough to be noticable.

Does Type S intake cost more than a performance aftermarket intake system?

Can I still use my factory air filter with the Type S intake or do I need to buy the air filter from Japan all the time?

Now that I'm ready to buy a Type S intake, but nobody seems to have them I think I've looked just about everywhere...

the intake uses the usdm stock filter. mine tends to pop off the airbox, particularly during wheelhop. mine seems to be extra bad though, as i didn't get all the factory peices with mine (spring to attach tube to top of airbox, clamp for the stock sized part that goes to the tb (i'm using a zip tie to connect both ends of the intake together.) and the guy i bought mine from cut off the pcv connection so i had to rebuild that.

I got mine from http://www.aj-racing.com. They're pretty cool. I got it new in the factory packaging. A small piece of it was broken, but I didn't loose any functionallity. They sent all the necessary hardware. I think it was about $150US (careful, they might quote you in Canadian). You have to call (Canada) to place an order.

I got all the pieces except the springs and clamp to hold the pieces together.
