Type S Intake

i just fed my JDM hunger with a new Type S Intake. I know that spoon makes a drop in filter for our beloved BB6. Will it do anything more than a K&N? I think modern angel has one. Anyways, if anyone could let me know, i havent decided which one to get yet. And yes i used the search button to no avail

damn... how the hell did I miss that auction??

I think the K&N filter cost like $40... but it is still much cheaper than Spoon's...

I just put in my Type-S chamber as well. I am using the stock air filter though. It seems to have more pull in VTEC opposed to my K&N though. I don't know why??? I'm looking at the Spoon as well but for the price, i'll stick w/ my stock one.

i was also thinking about getting a Type S air chamber and using a K&N filter with it. but i had a quick question, how much did the type s air chamber run you?

Save the money and switch to a CAI. You'd be much happier.
I switched from Type S chamber to Iceman, the difference is night and day.

don't feel like losing low end torque for that.

removing the resonator actuallt takes low end away. you need it to restrict flow so you get tqe till vtec which then it opends the butterfly vavle and u get more air

And you prolly won't notice it either if you get an AEM CAI either. I didn't. But I have a feeling I may if I go back to stock lol.

guys, i didnt mean for this to be a discussion about CAI. I know all about them. I understand that AEM CAI are the best, and the polished ones look.. well.. bling... but i didnt want one. I wanted a Type S. So, if anyone has anything to say about filter's then let's have it.
