Type S ECU

I doing some research on the type S ECU and I was wondering if anyone here could answer my questions. First of all, will there be any problem if I gut out my cat with the Type S ECU. Second, will I notice a difference on the engine acceleration and overall performance. Third, where can I purchase the ECU. And fourth, does anyone here have experience with the type S ECU?

Don't know any answers except you can probably find on at jdmhondaparts.com Their stock varies and they're expensive as hell.

you won't feel that much of a difference with the typeS ECU.....it'sll give you a better redline......(actually i don't even think is has a fuel cut...because I've accidentally over revved my motor before).....i can tell you, you can't go faster then 120mph...it has a speed govern......I have a typeS ECU.....it made a difference...but don't expect big gains

well even without the type S ECU my stock ECu doesn't have a gov! I already hit 160 est. and I want to get it because I'm hopefully going to get the type S cams and gut out my cat and I don't want the check engine light to come on!

USDM ECU's don't have a Gov - it's redline limited. JDM's do.
