1: You measure the lift of the cam using a micrometer shown below and compare it to the cam specs.
2:The cams and the pistons are tuned to work in sync with each other so if for example if you get Type s cams , you need the 11-1 Types s pistons to gain anything from the endever.
Also if you have a Type SH Prelude, you already have an upgraded cam that has more intake lift then the base lude and more exhaust lift then the Type s lude along with the approiate type of springs that is optimised for use with your stock 10-1 pistons and 93 octaine gas.
