That is only something you need to worry about if you need to do a swap. You won't know that for sure until you do a leakdown test. You are assuming the worst, but you don't know how bad it is yet.

Did I mention you should do a leakdown test?

An f20b is more trouble than it's worth and an H23 would be a step in the wrong direction anyway.

My CEL behaves the exact same way, and this post really scares me. However, I have the p131 code (bad o2 sensor), too. The strange thing is that it seems to hardly affect the performance of the car. I hope to hell I don't need a new valve.
