transmition failed / clutch

it is a 97 sh model. im not shure what is wrong with it. i was accelerating and shifting from 2nd to 3rd and when i put it into third and released the clutch and gave it some gas it didnt move and the rpms reved up. i checked under the hood and there was some red tinted fluid that later dried up as well as a little coolant the guy who gave me a tow thought it was a blown transmition fluid line. the gears will engage but the tires dont move. the clutch pedal also seams to be working. it will shift into gear when the clutch is engaged and the engine is running and nothing happens and the shifting doesnt feel any different than normal. its as if the clutch pedal is released and the clutch is still not engaged. we check the lines from the pedal to the clutch and they apear to be fine and moving the clutch from what i can see in the hood. and the shiftier appears to be going in to gear from what we can tell. what could be wrong?

Sounds like your ATTS fluid line has leaked and therefore your ATTS unit has failed.

Doesn't sound like gearbox or clutch failure.
