Tranny Swap

I've a 97 SS 4 speed prelude.
The tranny is jerky and I'm considering my options.
One option I'd like input on is a tranny swap to another sequential shift (cos i like my comfort) to a 5 speed SS tranny or even a 6 speed SS ( why not go the whole hog). What trannys fit my engine?

No such thing as a 5spd SS or a 6spd SS. Your only options are:

1) Swap in a different 4spd SS.
2) Swap in a 5spd manual.
3) Sell the sissy car and buy one with a 5spd manual.

Option #3 is the best.

I agree with Kronn (again, go figure).

Since it's almost impossible but why are you stopping at a 6 spd? I mean they have 8 spd transmissions in cars now...
