? At 99,094 miles, the transmission is slipping on 1st to 2nd gear upshifts. I know I shouldn't be surprised, but I really am. Typically my family's Honda transmissions have crapped out closer to 175,000+ miles, so I'm kind of bummed the Prelude never made it there without major mechanical failure. Anything I should know before going forward with this? The dealer has already ordered the part. I asked if it was a remanufactured transmission, and the answer of course was yes. I was told it comes direct from Honda, but I remember Gerhard posting many moons ago about different companies producing this equipment for Honda. Is that still true? The warranty that will apply to this part is 3-yr/36,000 mile, so I'm not
too concerned, but I've heard that people have had problems with the remanufactured trannys right from the get go. Anyone recently go through this ordeal?
