totaled lude!!!!!

About five months ago I totaled out my lude. I ended up breaking my leg in three places. But the part that hurt more was going to see my car in the junk yard. That moment I decided that my car was to beautiful to throw away. I am now just able to walk, the same goes for my car. I put it in the body shop today to have the rails pulled straight. I have aquired a carbon fiber hood fenders and all the other good stuff to put it back together. Today was almost as happy for me as the day I bought it. But the reason for this post is to ask if anyone has any front end parts. If so it would be greatly appreciated to let me know. I will buy them. But thanx, and hope to see u on the road soon.

Not to smart, you won't get jack for it if you try to sell the lude sometime down the road.

Aside from being structurally weaker (wouldn't want to be in that thing even if it had 50 airbags) your car will never track straight. Once a unit body is bent, you're not dealing with a full deck of cards. It's your money and car tho....

AS a former wreck re-builder-I think he's made a wise choice -because now he will have a paid for LUDE that can be made to track straight and be SAFE.

Just because a car is totaled doesn't mean that it took a killer hit.( I know he's having it pulled so his took a semi-hard hit) I had a 95 Talon Turbo that I rearended a guy in. They totaled it because his trailer hitch went through the IC and radiator. Then the bumper, headlights were toast but the clincher was-as USUAL the AIRBAGS! $1000++ each I was only going about 25 mph !

Good luck with your rebuild,oh BTW how much did you buy the car back for?

My friend just bought back his totalled 2001 ITR for $2300.00!-motor alone was worth more!

Luded97,

U got pics of ur totalled Lude for us to assess ur damages? I would guess it was pretty severe since u suffered a broken leg!

I semi-agree w/LunaticLude's comments about a salvaged vehicle should not be automatically considered as JUNK, however, regardless of the damages(large or small) the resale value of the car is OUT THE WINDOW!!! u might want to consider this B4 continuing w/the rebuild!
