I know what you mean....I installed my rear skirt a couple weeks ago and had to remove my bumper...You wont believe how much dirt and sand was behind there...i couldnt believe it...
Oh. Kinda makes me wanna take my rear bumper off to clean it. I wonder how bad it is to leave all that dirt building up in there? That couldn't be good. Was the removal of it difficult? (on a scale of 1-10)
hum...
if you have the correct tools... not very hard...
4 bolts... 2 clips.. 3 self tap-in clips... and dis-connect the license plate light cord (that was the hardest part cuz it's so hard to get that off...) then you can just pull the bumper right out...

real simple..open your trunk. you will see 3 plasic clips...pop them off...then look under your rear bumper...you will see 3 more plastic clips...take those out...then there are 2 bolts and 2 Pins on the left and right side of the rear wheelwell by your rear bumper...then be careful and push the bumper towards you..good idea to have a friend help you..so you dont scratch any paint...Follow this link on Honda Accesories.com which shows you how to take out your rear bumper for installing the rear oem kit.. make sure you have adobe acrobat installed on your computer too...and follow the simple instructions..
