tires

Anyone know anything about these tires Firestone Firehawk GTA-02. I don't feel comfortable with my stock tires so I'm looking for a good yet cheap tire until I'm ready to upgrade. Any suggestions would be great.

Hmm, havent heard anything about them, but it is cool that you are considering some Firestones after all the craziness. I just got a set of BFG Touring T/A's for my all season/winter tires. If you have snow concerns, then you will want an all season tire that does not have directional tread. If you have two sets like me... then you can get a set of summer tires with directional tread. The choices are getting pretty wide here. The cheapest would probably be the Kuhmo Ecsta, but I have heard of some quality concerns from one person and arent as grippy as others. The Bridgestone RE730's are really nice. KDW's are getting good reviews as are Falken Azeins (spelling?). Yokohoma A520's are really nice, but it seems that they are being discontinued and really passed up in the tire market in design as they age. Kuhmo is coming out with a new street tire soon as well that is gonna be pretty cool. Check out the tirerack.com to get some more reviews.
