Tiny rock hit my front windshield...

Anyone know how I can get rid of this tiny rock chip on my front windshield? It's the size of the tip of a needle. It's annoying because it's right in front of my view of the road.

I thought about using some Bon Ami. It's like comet but it's intended for use on glass. I have about a 1000 tiny chips that make driving in the sun tough sometimes from the glare off the shear # of chips.

I think you can get it fixed at a shop .. if it starts cracking you probably need a new windshield.

I used to have two rock chips about 2 cm wide on the passenger side of my windshield from a rock.. they always annoyed me but I never really did anything about them and my window held up fine from July (when it happend) till the beginning of Februrary (when my windshield was vandalized/kicked in) ..

I have seen signs for auto glass/windshield places that advertise like $50 for rock chip repair.. maybe you could try something like that.

Those chips can definitely be fixed. Don't expect perfection though. They won't disappear but just not as apparent.

i visited all the windshield repair places in my area.. all of them told me it's too small to be fixed, new windshield required... but i don't really want to replace the whole windshield for just a few little scratches the size of the head of a pin.
