ticking noise

hey everyone i am new to this forum i have an 01 prelude its been in the family since it rolled off dealer lot it became mine about 1yr ago. anyways there is always this ticking noise no matter what time of day just gt the timing belt replace less than 500 mi ago soo not sure what it is any help would be great 122,000 mi on car





p.s if you live near rancho cucamonga, CA and got perf. parts for sale let me know thanks

it ticks from the moment the car is turned on til i turn it off and then it sounds like its on the front driver side

well i dont know if you fixed it yet but i stumbled on this thread looking searching for something else.

CHeck your belts if its frayed. A loose strand from the frayed belt can make a ticking noise everything it hits something. i learned the hard way =(.

My power steering pump made a noise like that, I guess due to bearing failure, and had to be replaced.
