yea, TRS is definitely a good place to buy parts. I always buy shrouds from Matt over there, and he has great customer service. If you buy something from him, just tell him Brian aka Prelude1897 sent you

Hey Brian, what headlights do you find work best for the retro? i have some black depos, but would rather have the OEM look. I just bought clear turn signals and foglights, so im thinking clear headlights would match better....Thoughts?

If you need a kit just get it from ddm tuning. you cant beat their kits.

to make the bulb fit in the stock housing using a H1 bulb all you have to do is bend the metal clip.

Also if you stick with a 35w kit the glare isint as bad as the video.

me and my friend both have 35w hids in stock housing they dont glare that bad nor do they blind people.

unless you dont aim them correctly.

ive had my friend drive behind me and past me with them on it doesnt blind me at all...ive been blinded more by asswads in raised trucks

Aiming them so they don't blind people means that you are aiming them so low that you reduce the distance you can see, The stock reflectors simply aren't designed for HID's and there is no way around that, other than literally getting around it by retrofitting HID projectors.

To me, both the DEPO's and OEM lights are good lights to use for a retrofit. There's not too much of a difference between the two.

Exactly right...I don't know why people keep suggesting to aim the lights down
