For those with gauges (aftermarket)

So I recently installed my center dash tri-gauge pod and some nice looking autometers (oil press, water temp, volts), you know, the standard stuff.

My question is this: What do I do with the life-less water temp gauge in my stock dash gauge cluster??

Has anyone else out there run into something like this? I feel an opportunity for some custom work here... I just haven't figured out what.

I know, right! I love my autometer, it's just sad looking at the crap oem gauge just sitting there all limp.

I was thinking about taking it out and putting in an analog clock gauge then removing the stock digital clock and putting in a switch plate or something. Maybe a dimmer module for my new gauge lighting?? I don't know, but my problem is getting something in the stock gauge area without destroying the gauge cluster. I don't want to end up screwing something up, you know?
