think its been discussed but... sub instead of rear tray (possible?)

Hey
I remember seeing a thread a while ago but I couldn't find it again. The ones that I did see during my search said that there is about four inches under the tray... That isn't enough room for a sub inclosure right? Would a ten inch sub even fit there? I suppose you wouldn't be able to put the back seat down if you had one there...

what do you think? is there a way to make that useless tray into something cool?

Sure it is possible, but the vibrations would go straight to your rear window. The metal would have to be cut away from the tray, but an enclosure would have to be built, unless you want to use an enclosureless subwoofer and there are a few good ones out there.

I think he is referring to the plastic tray between the reat seats. I am doing a custom fiberglass sub enclosure that replaces the entire rear lower seat (w/ a mount for nitrous bottle I think).
