Things U need for Cams + Valvetrain

Okay, I been researching on all the things I need for this motor upgrade.
- Crower Stage 2
- STR cam gears
- Portflow springs
- OEM retainers
- OEM valves
- OEM cam seals (How many do I need, 2?)
- OEM valve seals (How many?)
I read Joon write up on cam install, but he mostly did maintance stuff like timing belt and water pump. I have already did all the maintance thanks to 99_SH.

Is there anything else I would need to change while I have the head off? Plus, I'm burning oil too. I have change the O-ring cam seal to an STR one, but I leaking else now.

First, you MUST change out the auto tensioner for a manual unit! You will break one if you dont. Second Id ditch the oem cam seals for some beefier units. Third, make sure you have some form of fuel control. Also, if you have low miles then Id not worry about new valve seals (assuming you can pass a leakdown test). If you are burning oil then Id do a compression check to see if you pistons are still sealing. If not, then it would be a good time to change them rings too!

I have done the manual swap already. I have about 92k on my lude so I'm thinking I have to change them out. I'm thinking Crower Stage 2 modified lobe because next to that, I am only looking at JUN, and with that you need the whole package. I hope it's not the piston rings, don't wanna dig to deep.

If you are doing NA as in crower stage 2 cams, i would suggest buying crower retainer/valve, check with them you don 't want to used OEM with thoes and later have to change to better one. Might as well do it right the first time. Also with the cam, to get the most out of it get P&P and hondata or uberdata (if u can play around with it) else get hondata to get to close to 200whp or more
