Hi RobRac,
Came on PreludeOnline after months, hence the late reply and old post bump
Anyways, I've had the same setup wif the EDFC for over a year & half now and in Michigan, its pretty rough (read back-breaking hard). For my daily driving which is 30miles 99% highway, I keep it on full soft setting (16, 16) and I change it down for on-ramps, off-ramps and Michigan-lefts based on the turn.
You'll have to see what feels best for you. Start cornering with the full hard setup (0,0) and the same turns with (16,16). Once you get the feel of how different the cornering is, gradually make tweaks like lightening the rear to say a (0,8) front-hard, rear-soft setup, etc and you'll have fun seeing what works best for what turn in what conditions.
On the track I've used mostly only 0,0 since the Tiens just do not damp well enough (spring rates are perfect in my opinion) and the few times I tried lightening the rear, the car wouldn't corner as confidently.
A lot of your final performance extraction will depend on your tyres - you haven't mentioned which ones you run, but if your tyres are some kind of all-season crap, you're already wasting the Tiens. I run a set of Direzza Z1 Star Specs (215/40 R17) which is a comparable to stock dia. and I can tell they make a huge difference. The last winter I had Bridgestone Blizzaks (205/50R16) and had a completely different level of fun with them Tiens.
Another thing I could recommend is EBC Redstuff brakepads - with an uprated suspension & tyre setup, you may as well get better brakepads. These are great for daily, not expensive, not noisy and way better than stock in terms of fade or braking distance.
Enjoy
