I maintain that the best economical answer will continue to be Ground Controls with custom rates.

Be warned that lowering springs don't always play nice with stock shocks. The change in suspension geometry from lowering the car will wear out the shocks much faster than leaving them at stock height. Just something else for you to consider....

yeah but usually at this point in our cars life the shocks are heading out the door.
If you had to choose from a performance point of view and had to choose between the S and H techs, The S techs would be "better" because the spring rates are slightly higher and also give a 1.5" drop. The H tech's spring rates are a tad softer and give a 1.2" drop. For the same price I would choose the S Techs out of the two. These springs are made to be used with OEM shocks so if your shocks are still good, there you go.
Well, since you have a Base model you can get the Ground Control coilovers and some nice shocks to go with it. I have an SH so springs only for me, I haven't bought them yet but I'm going with the H-techs. I don't want that much of a drop and anyways they drop a little bit more after they settle in, nice stance with the H's too and they cause less stress on the stock shocks since they're not as low as the S's. The S-techs are too much drop for my taste. H-Techs FTW!

there is no converting. you buy base springs and shocks. nothing else changes, almost the same install as a base. exact same install if you buy a sh shock/spring combo or a base shock/spring combo.

Yep. My SH has KYB AGX shocks with Ground Control coilovers. Nothing else was changed to make this happen.

^^^ Really? A lot of people were saying that I had to change my set up, cool guess I don't have to. So when you ordered your suspension you had to get the Base version and Base coilovers?
