Okay, One more time! You really should do a search but...

If you don't go to the track and don't autocross, you definetly do not need pillow mounts. I autocross and intend to go to the track a few times this season and I don't have pillow mounts on my HAs. I don't think I would need them either. The car handles so much better and I really don't see how I would need it especially on a daily driver. Buy the HAs and put them on and drive the car for a month or two and ask yourself if you need a little more...

My guess is that most people will tell you that you won't need it. Honestly, the HAs alone without the pillow mounts is more than you'll need. Get some nice sticky tires and you are golden. Good luck.

I don't know how low the HA will go but I can tell you that Tein included with the coilovers this plastic piece that stands on the ground with a measurement of 90mm and says that the car shouldn't be lower than the plastic piece. I guess it's for competition and safety reasons. I don't care to try how low it will go because I don't have a lift and it would take like 3 people to get a damn jack under it with the oem body kit on. I have my car dropped 1 inch at all four corners and that's the lowest I am going. The thing is, if you are going for show, why bother spending the money for the Teins, just go buy yourself the lowest cheapest spring and you'll be slammed, mission accomplished, no?

I'm not going for the slammed look, I want like a 1.5 in drop, I really want the drivability and the performance of the Tein.

I just want to make sure they will drop 1.5in

of course they'll go 1.5 inches. You can slam your car with Teins. Although I have the Tein SS coil overs, I had my tires tucked for about a week, but then I raised it to about 1 finger gap all around.

I think they will go 3.5 all around. But why would you need to unless you slam it at shows I'd personally think anything over 1.5 is too low especially with a kit or something that will be scrap city!! especially on preludes which already have a low suspension height to start out with

i never got my teins to tuck a lot. I'd imagine that it tucked about half an inch or so. The front left corner was on the lowest perch thread when I had it tucked, the other 3 corners still had some threads left on them. Go figure, the heaviest corner of the car, had to be on the lowest thread
