TB question

is it worth buying a stock IM and get it ported and polished?
i've heard that skunk2 IM doesnt really do much and is a waste of money, so i was just wondering if it would be better to do that?

well i dont know about the port and polishing...but i just installed the skunk2 intake manifold and you can definately tell a difference..your rpms climb faster...vtec is much much louder...overall i think its a good bolt on...the only thing is that with the skunk2 im you will get a cel cause of the egr valve not being used..but im running a chipped p13 so i dont have to worry about that...

Easiest to just use a Euro-r and the adapters from rosko racing.

i dont think loudness equates exactly to power gains. (everyone:start driving open header or atleast throw on a fart can)
im sure there are some gains, but I would go with the euro-r manifold.

i got a stock IM for $20, so i would rather spend the money on fixing up the stock IM instead of buying another, if its worth it.
anyone got anything to say bout this?
