Taillight Problem - Honda Prelude Forum

Hi Guys,

Yesterday I put in 2001 stock tails.I turn on the lights and the top red part that is suposed to be solid red lighting across has a big blank in it.

In other words the middle bulb or something is not lighting up, only when I put on the breaks I see the full bar like it is supposed to be normally. Am I missing something, I saw this also with my first tails after I cleard them but I thought it was just them.Did I damage my little harness ? I check all the bulbs and I put the bulbs in write.

Can someone help me with this, did you notice the same thing after clearing your tails ? Can you host a pic of the lights ?

Those bulbs are dual filament bulbs. They go on with the parking lamps, and get brighter when you apply the brakes.

One of the filaments has burnt out, which is very common because it happened to me when i cleared out my tails too.

Just goto the autostore and buy some more. They are like 5 bucks for 2 bulbs.
