swapping h22a4 type sh ecu for h22a type-s ecu

I was just wondering what I would need to switch on my h22 type-s engine if I wanted to switch the ecu from the type sh ecu I have running it now to the jdm type s ecu that should be running it.

If you dont have a check engine light on, dont waste your time. you wont notice a difference. If you want to sell your jdm ecu, i could use it, pm me. I have a usdm ecu running my h22a type s and it throws missfire codes due to the wrong location of sensors etc. If your obd2 usdm ecu is running it and no checkengine light is on, STAY THAT WAY.

the jdm ecu had a higher rev limiter as well as no governor so I want to change it... you can stop it from throwing coeds by replacing the type s oil pump for one off of a usdm h22a4. that way you have the right sensors for the usdm ecu.

I know that, just would rather use the jdm ecu...same as you, but my jdm ecu will not communicate with the atts ecu. IF you knew to switch the oil pump, to move the tdc and cank sensor to get ur usdm ecu to work...then why even make this post? you would need to change the distributor back and put the harness back to what it was.

never did anything with mine. I do believe that jdm does not have a immobalizer? Not sure about that but I just plugged my jdm ecu in and started right up.
