Swapped to DC5R wheel, now not locking or releasing turn signals

So I swapped my stock steering wheel over to the dc5R one (nice improvement by the way) and now the wheel doesn't lock and the turn signals don't release. I know this is usually a function of the clock spring, but I am wondering if I did something wrong and broke it? Or is this a side effect of swapping wheels? I really wouldn't think so, and searched a bit but couldn't seem to find this as being a common thing.

Coincidentally, I just swapped my wheel for a S2000 wheel. It was a straight-forward swap and my turn signals release just like they did before. I haven't checked if the new steering wheel locks, but I would assume it does.

You might want to try unmounting the wheel and double check everything.

Yeah, double check that everything lined up properly. If I remember correctly, there are a couple rods that stick out and align with holes in the wheel. I believe they are used to lock/unlock the wheel and release the turn signal.

I'm assuming you mean from the SRS unit? Yeah those lined up with the new wheel just fine, I wonder if something got damaged in the process and thats what is really going on here. I don't really mind that much but it is kind of annoying
