Suspicious Headlight Behavior. Confirm my findings before I start buying parts?

Hi all, it's been a while since I've posted here, hope all is well.

So I've been experiencing some weird headlight behavior. This is only with my low beams, the high beams work as expected... Some instances:

- I've had to replace the driver side bulb several times recently.
- The headlight would go off and on while driving, forcing me to question my sanity on long drives
- I replaced the bulb socket and all was better for a while.
- Recently my passenger side headlight has gone out and wont come on (low beams).
- The oddest behavior I've seen is that one night I would turn the headlights on, and it would take a few seconds after turning the switch for (only the one) to come on. I noticed that simultaneously my left blinker indicator came on solid (not flashing) while this was happening... odd indeed.

I hate electrical problems as they're a pain to track down, so today I got out the multimeter and the helms. I started with the combination headlight/blinker switch test:

I found some oddities and I wanted you guys to confirm that I'm doing things right. There was no connectivity between A17 and B5 with low beams OR high beams on.

All other connectivity was fine per the chart:
Low beams: A20-A17, B5-A10
High beams: A9-A20, A20-A17, B5-A10

I'm I correct in thinking that this switch is bad? I *should* be seeing connectivity between pins A17-B5, right?

Thanks in advance!

-Shane

Can anyone at least confirm that I'm reading the diagram right?

You are reading it the same way I just read it.

Have you tried connecting A17,A20,B5,A10 with a wire to see if they function properly?

Make sure you have proper voltage coming from your alternator.

Voltage from the battery and alternator look good.

Car Off - 12.8v
Running - 14.6v
Running under load - 14.25v

Double check the switch, it may be worn out.
