Suspension problem

I did some search on the forum but nothing was explain clearly concerning my problem.

I just install some lowering spring on my lude (2001 SE) the back is lower perfectly with almost no wheel gap but the front is not lower at all..i still have a 3 inches wheel gap in the front.

Here is what i did...

Box came with 4 springs ....2 different size....2 of them are longer than the others...Unfortunately there is no FR or RR writing on the spring....I've installed the longer spring in the front and the short one in the back.

I've read on a post here...that the longer one should be installed in the back...but i don't get it....the front got all the weight of the engine...and the spring are not lowering at all...i can't imagine how it will be lower in the back...since the back of the car is lighter than the front.

And also i've seen some pictures of coilovers on the web....some of them are installed with the short one in the back and the longer one in the front...and other website shows...the short one in the front and longer one in the back...

Please someone give me the right answer...how do these spring need to be installed.

Thanks

the thicker heavier springs go in the front...the thinner lighter springs go in the back...the back springs should have a tightly wont portion of coils....
