Suspension

Ok, I got rid of the clunking sound by installing the KYB AGX struts and Tein S springs. Ride is much better now, much better than the Espelir springs and Excel struts the PO had on there.

BUT... the creaking sound is friggin' annoying. Does it take time for the springs to settle? It creaks when I hit a bump or when I accelerate. One of the guys said that the aftermarket track bar (rear) is pulling the car down which causes it to creak. Do you buy that?

Any ideas? Thanks.

right suspension doesnt give you any noise, settled or not
so problem is somewhere else
it takes for springs something like 60 miles to settle

...when I bought new coilovers there were no new noises at all

Suspension

It has been over 60 miles since I did the installation. It still creaks. I can't figure out what it is!

Racing suspension makes a ton of noise btw.

For the OP, it might be your bushings making noise from being dried out. The bushings on the rear sway bar or the endlinks might also give some noise. Also, might be old ball joints? I would say to take a look at them and lubricate them. Are there also rubber spring isolators on your springs? if not, you might get noise from there too.

very true

if the control arms or bushings make noises, it isnt really coilovers/shocks/springs fault IMO

but well, when I bought new lower control arm it started to make some noises, even with greased. and still I have passed few routine inspections and car performs well. so not all noises are deadly bad.

have you checked does the tires rub anywhere?
