Stupid 3rd brake light

Hey,

Just got a new 2001 Prelude in EBP and I LOVE IT!!!! However, when the dealer installed the rear wing, I am left with the standard 3rd brake light on the rear tray. It is huge and it is VERY annoying to look at. I took the light and housing out but now I have a huge hole in the tray. Anyone know where I can get the Type SH rear tray. Someone told me that they dont have the hole for the 3rd brake light becuase the SH comes with the rear wing standard. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Just to clarify, the rear tray I am talking about is where the rear speakers are.

Thanks

uummm, try hparts.com but I don't know since the SH comes with just the LED light in the spoiler. Have you tried taking the whole housing out and seeing if yo can put something there so it isn't noticable?

Also, has anyone ever replaced the rear tray? And if so, how hard was it and what is the part number?

So what you are telling me is that the brake light in the spolier is always on?

no the brake light on the rear deck turns on with the parking lights and the one on the wing is a regular brake light

Remove the side panels. Remove the speaker grills. Remove the deck. Install new deck. Install speaker grills. Install side panels. Takes about 5 minutes total.
