Hey guys and Gals new to the forum and new to prelude ownership. I have seen some topics on this but have never seen the exact fix.

I have an 01 prelude and am having this problem, stuck in park radio's out. The car is totally stock with no mods at all, it was fine the night before, I garaged it, changed a fuse because my dome lights were not working then later went to leave and i can't get it out of park. I pushed the shift lock button, got it started in Neutral but the trans dosen't seem to want to work right doing it this way.

Any help would be greatly appriciated as I am new to Imports.

In before the Kronn.

People will tell you that it is because the automatic transmission is failing. i will tend to agree with them.

Are you getting any CEL's? Is the D4 light flashing? Make sure you did not mess up any other fuses.

have you tried taking the shift solenoid out and cleaning it? It's located on the front of the tranny. Sometimes if you clean that, it can fix the issue.
