Strut/Shock Advice for H&R Race Springs

I recently have had H&R Race Lowering springs installed on my prelude. I am currently using my stock struts/shocks. I know it is a bad idea not to replace my stock struts/shocks with aftermarket ones, but they my springs were bought as a gift to me so now I'll just buy the rest myself.

My question is, what are some good struts/shocks that will work with my lowering springs? (my drop is 2" front, 1.75" rear)

Also, is there anything else I should be looking to purchase to keep my suspension in good shape?

Thanks in advance.

If you actually want good handling and a solid feel the Koni's are the only way to go. The rest of the stuff out there, with the exception of Bilstein, is not very good and can actually cause the car's wheels to "hop" over bumps in the road causing poor grip and potential spin not to mention a rough ride.

After looking, it appears my only option for the koni's are the koni yellow sport shocks, is that correct? Or is that just the top of the line ones? I searched my year and make on the site but only the yellows came up.

Are the Bilstein's a good alternative to these? I assume the Koni's are better, I want whats good for my prelude and will last the life of it, but I don't want to be spending a crazy amount either. But hey, you get what you pay for.

Bilstein's are good but they are not externally adjustable so in order to tune them you have to take them off the car and pay a shop to take them apart and tune them. Both have a limited lifetime warranty so even if the shocks get messed up you can send the bad one back and they will replace it. In some cases they will even send you the good one before you send the bad one. There is one alternative to Koni yellow's and that is the Neuspeed version which has 2 more ride height grooves and a shorter shock shaft which is ideal for use with lowering springs.

I like both shock company's but for street use Koni's are the best out of the box and offer the best warranty you can get. Also, don't use a camber kit, camber kits are for people that don't understand how camber works or what effect it has on a tire; they're a solution to a problem that doesn't exist. If you are worried about tire wear get the toe zero-ed out when you align it, and I would highly recommend aligning it after you install the shocks.
