that is a lower tie bar, your gonna have to jack the back of the car up or use a lift to put it on, installs using the lower control arm bolts, unbolt put rod inplace and bolt it back up. also the link you gave is for a 4th gen set, i am not shure but i dont think the two are interchangable, might wanna check that out first.

try searching for lower tie bar installation, i know a couple of guys who have dc ones and you cant see it unless you are looking under the car real good, if your doing it for just the bling factor i would say its more of a pain than its worth unless you just want to be like look what i got and point it out to people.

just get under the back of the car and it should almost become obvious where this bar goes. it should line up very well with 2 big bolts that aren't hiding

Don't even waste your time on that ebay ****. That **** cost about $20 on ebay. It is very hard to open the screw under the car to install it when that **** is sooo cheap and you won't feel anything. If you go to a shop ($60). I just got a neuspeed front strut bar $121 (summitracing.com) (90 days return policy and lower price guarenteed). I loved it, it improve my suspension and it feel so good driving the car. DON'T INSTALL THAT ****!!!!

Installing that bar is not hard at all. You only have to remove two bolts and they're easy to get to and do not require a whole lot of torque to undo. You make it sound like it's the same as breaking torque on on an axle nut or the crank pulley.

It's true lower tie bars don't really do anything for our cars, they're just for looks. But since you got it for from your friend for free I assume, go ahead and put it in.
