Strange whirring sound right after I start moving...

Hey I'm hoping someone knows what this is. I have a 2001 Prelude SE that I have had about 2 weeks. If the car has been sitting for a few hours when I start to move I hear a whirring sort of sound for about 1-2 seconds which starts and stops right as I start to pull away. That's the only time I hear this sound. It sounds like it is in front of the drivers side. I thought maybe something with power steering but don't see why it only does it once. Once the car is moving it doesn't happen anymore, or if I stop it and start it shortly after it doesn't happen again either. Any ideas? Thanks!

It is your ABS system priming itself. Totally normal. And every 5th gen Prelude does it.

Yep. No gremlins. I wondered this alot when I first got my Lude. I thought it was something to do with reverse, because I always heard it when backing out of my driveway. LOL Just the ABS system. I was paranoid that something was wrong with my car. I had a good laugh when I finally figured out what it was.
