i get this odd sound coming from the front left of my car sometimes when i'm going off of 1st and after 2nd i never hear it again. its not very loud. someone told me if could be the belt? but i think its something else. i'm taking the car in for a tune up soon to see what it really is but i'm just wondering if anyone would know what it could be?
If it is, the mechanic told me that it sounds like my throw out bearing is bad. Not 100% sure yet, but I'm getting my engine pulled out Tuesday (March 19). I'll find out soon.
It's a nasty noise. It's been getting worse for me. I always hear it going to or coming from work. It's embarrassing.
