Strange noise..

I've started getting a strange noise for a split second every time I turn off my engine and remove the key lately...it's a strange high pitched screetch...not very loud....but loud enough for me to know it's there....I know this is an unusual question, but do any of you guys know what this might be?? thanks

Does it happen only after the key is removed? Do you have an AEM by-pass valve?

I had a similar noise, it was that darned in-line walboro pump! Did you add that regulator device from B&M, or any fuel regulator at all?

i don't have any of that stuff....no bypass valve and no fuel regulator....the sound starts when i turn the key to off and and stops the second i pull my key out...this is assuming i do this all very quickly...a quiet high-pitched screetch..

Clogged fuel filter, crimped fuel return hose? Actually, it could be many things. Wish I could be of more help.....
