Nah, threads not that old.. and I haven't replaced my headlights yet. I was looking for someone who bought some they could give me input on, so thanks a ton, just what I wanted to hear.

By chance, maybe take some pics of what they look like now? The pic they usually include is no where near the real deal.. here is the one in that ebay link:

No need for pic.. but for archiving purposes, it could give anyone looking for bulbs an idea of what to get.

Edit:
Plus, as an afterthought.. you say they are only a little bit brighter, but I bet it is easier to see details on the road... that yellow dingy stock bulb crap.. not only does it look crappy, but it seems to illuminate less effectively

way ahead of u man, i took this last nite leaving work and yeah your eyes adjust to the light color a lot more and u can see a lot better (once u dim the dash lights) and everythinkg is a lot clearer but here u go in my opinion these were the best bulbs i have bought so far, i have bought 5 seperate pairs looking to get the blue euro look and the brightness i wanted and these are perfect and the picture ebay is almost identical, actually pretty surprised

I think the ride it has stock is worth keeping... if even there is a small chance in the feel of the ride being compromised, just for slightly better handling.. well not worth it. Plus.. honda parts are pretty damn good too. Plus... I am trying to avoid much attention from police... doesn't take much to convince them you are prolly some pot smoking 16 year old kid

Thanks for the headlight pic, looks good... much better than the stock dingy looking bulbs. Thx a ton for posting them.

Do NOT buy from ebay... unless you know what you are buying! When dealing with 90% of the no-name-brand crap that gets sold on there.. well, that is why I started this thread in the first place!

I feel totally comfortable buying headlights off of ebay if someone on here is both happy with it AND has pictures to show the difference. It is also safe to buy from ebay if you know what you are buying... name brand stuff. Always ask the seller before you buy to verify it IS name brand, not just a picture of name brand... then if you get anything but the right product you have a valid argument.

There is nothing wrong with ebay in itself, and I have never really had problems with sellers... but you get what you pay for, and you should know what you pay for before you pay. Ebay is chock full of knock off crap, some of which is fine.. but when it comes to alot of things, well.. buyer beware.

i bought headlights on ebay about a 2 months ago, the black housing ones without projectors, due to my HID's
the only problem you run into with brighter lights is more wattage = more heat inside the lens
as far as coilovers go eibach are cheap price and cheap quality
my lude is on skunk 2 coilovers and it rides almost like stock
if your gonna do your suspension, save up and do it right, if you start off with some cheap parts your gonna regret it in the long run

Where in florida are you at? I agree about cheap parts and regretting it. I have done that too many times in the past. Because I am a full time student who works at the school for crap money, coilovers are not in the near future. A simple thing like bulbs are. Getting my stereo installed is, getting a 4 channel amp. Cheap stuff.

as far as headlight bulbs go, i'd say get some h1 from piaa. they'll probably run you about 40 bucks a set but well worth it. also, if you have a little extra (like $6) get some polarg 168 bulbs while you're at it and change the little running light in the headlights. looks really nice at night. i'd show you some pics but my idiot friend backed his rx-8 up into my prelude and now its in the shop.......

If you are keeping your stock headlights, you can get xenon h1 fog light bulbs from auto zone for $12 and they are a bit whiter and brighter than the silver stars, something to consider.
